So, fresh out of a successful election campaign with majority mandate in tow, Stephen Harper has met with the Governer General to ask that parliament be formed. Now the fun begins.

Two party leaders are done with their careers following the results of this election, one is revelling in success unheard of in the history of his party and no doubt wondering how to actually manage the bunch of unexpected and unqualified winners in his midst, and the last is grinning ear to ear because the leash that has tethered him to this side of sanity has finally been removed. And, while the post-mortem of this election could fill conversation until the next election comes, many are alluding to worry over a “hidden agenda,” and our fearless Prime Minister is letting us know we shouldn’t be worried about that. I actually agree with him.

We have enough to worry about with the agenda he’s publicly stated.
